PAFTCC Breast Cancer Walk ID=5189 (4)

Some of the members of the Paralegal Association of Florida, Inc. Treasure Coast Chapter plan to participate in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer of Indian River County walk that is taking place on Saturday, October 13, 2018, at Riverside Park in honor of one of our members who was recently diagnosed with breast cancer.  This member, who prefers to remain unnamed at this time, has asked that I stress to our fellow female members and non-members how important it is to have your regular mammograms done each year!  It could save your life!
The walk begins at 9:00 am (check-in at 7:00 am and opening ceremony at 8:00 am) and is approximately 3 miles in distance.  We all walk together, but this event is not a race.  Stop whenever you want or need to. You absolutely do not need to complete the entire walk if you are unable. It is a family event, so you can bring your family, kids and friends to walk with you.  We aren't doing anything formal or raising any money, just walking for a good cause.  If you'd like to join us, please just let me know via email ahead of time so that we can all plan to meet up that morning and walk together.  I'll keep a list of those who plan to walk and email everyone the week of the walk with meeting details, etc.

If you cannot join us, please be sure to wear your pink all month long in October and get your regular mammogram!
