Operations Team
Make a Difference

The WASH Rotary Action Group is divided into two sections; the Board of Directors, which sets policy. Elections to the Board happen once a year.
 
The other section is the Operations Team, which does many different activities, from reviewing Global Grants to WASH Ambassadors. We are always looking for new people to get involved.

 
WASH Rotary Action Group Operations Team
Volunteers involved with an Operations Team subcommittee serve a three-year term that can be renewable. The full Operations Team meets twice a month via Zoom, and subcommittees meet as required by Zoom. If you are interested in getting involved, please send an email to info@wash-rag.org.
 
Below is a list of the different committees, indicating the name of the current chair and a very brief description of their activities.
 
WASH Ambassador Program - Carolyn Meub
Recruit and maintain WASH experts to assist Rotary Districts and Clubs at the local level
 
Professional Services Team - Monica Louie
Serves as a technical resource for WASH projects and oversees a grants programs for projects that ask for a technical review.
 
World Water Summit - Michael Fernando
Annually coordinates a WASH educational program in conjunction with the Rotary International Convention 
 
Rotaract - Rashid Alhassan
This active committee provides an outreach program which encourages Rotaract members to participate in WASH related programs and projects and provides a Rotary educational opportunity.
 
Rotary Foundation Technical Officer/Cadre - Richard Churchman
Assists with ensuring Global Grant applications meet the requirements of The Rotary Foundation 

Marketing and Communication - Lisa Talley
Responsible for the content of the website, social media, newsletter, and publications
 
Membership - Patrick Coleman
Recruits people interested in WASH to help support our efforts 

Sponsorship and Partnerships - Vacant
Obtains funding for our different programs and develops relationships with WASH-related NGOs and organizations.
 
Technology - Michael Brown
Assists us with keeping all our information and materials on the website and other means of communication current 
 
Administration - Ian Rumbles
Helps coordinate all the “moving parts” of the organization and is responsible for communications to the membership

Operations Team Chair - Wade Nomura
Keeps all the subcommittees organized and moving forward
