Victor Davis Hanson - is the Martin and Illie Anderson Senior Fellow in Residence in Classics and Military History at the Hoover Institution, Stanford University, a professor of Classics Emeritus at California State University, Fresno, and a nationally syndicated columnist for Tribune Media Services. As well as an Honorary Member of Fresno Rotary.

Hanson, who was the fifth successive generation to live in the same house on his family’s farm, was a full-time orchard and vineyard grower from 1980-1984, before joining the nearby CSU Fresno campus in 1984.

Hanson is the author of hundreds of articles, book reviews, scholarly papers, and newspaper editorials on matters ranging from ancient Greek, agrarian and military history to foreign affairs, domestic politics, and contemporary culture. Cornerstone Conference Center is located at 1525 Fulton St, Fresno, CA 93721. Free parking is available behind the conference center on a first come basis. Street parking and metered parking is also available. Lunch is served at noon, coffee and iced tea is available as is dessert. Entrees are served: Red tickets for a hot entree. Green tickets are for salad entree. Vegetarian/Vegan meals are available with white ticket. Meetings begin at or before 12:30 and adjournment is at 1:30 p.m. Meal choices are on a first come basis.

Guests and Visiting Rotarians that pre-register by 10 a.m. will have a name tag at the door. Members may have their account billed for guest’s meals or guests may pay at the door:
