Description:   Storyline:  We will share details of the Environment Tour México ???? that took place on October 20-26, where we visited and participated in the multiple environmental projects the Rotary Clubs in México are doing; lessons learned and future plans.
 
Bio:  Salvador Rico is a promoter of the Environment Tour México ????, Founder of the Initiative “Cleaning the Rivers of the World”, an initiative born in the Rotary Club of South Ukiah District D5130 in Ukiah California USA in 2009. Triple Crown Donor by being Major Donor, Bequest Society Member and Paul Harris Society member.  Current roles in Rotary are: Assistant Governor 2021-2023 D5130, District International Service Chair 2022-2025, Member of the Team of Cadres for the Rotary Foundation 2021-2024.  Since 2009 he has supported river cleanup projects and supported club-to-club, district, and global grants to help protect the environment and rivers with Rotary clubs in the US, Mexico, Ecuador, Colombia, India, Turkey, Egypt, Bosnia, Argentina and now he’s promoting the Rotary-UNEP “Adopt-A-River” program. He continues to help Rotarians involve their Rotary clubs in protecting and restoring the rivers, lakes, and watersheds near their communities. One way that he does this is by connecting them with their local and regional stakeholders to develop actions and grants to restore ecosystems in rivers, lakes, and watersheds.
