9:30 AM - 11:30 AM
Please note: the duration of the meeting may vary if there is robust discussion, changes to the election process, and the use of technology. Please prepare before hand to assist in keeping the meeting on schedule.
The Ontario Senior Games Association is excited to present the 2021 Annual General Meeting in the same virtual format that we used last year. Sport Law will be facilitating our virtual AGM and administering all voting events with the Simply Voting software. We ask that each District appoint one primary voting delegate to register who will be the one executing the voting events. This individual should have a strong working knowledge of how to access their e-mails, toggle between screens, join a video conference, or be willing to set up a time with the office to practice. Each District is asked to appoint an alternate voting delegate to also attend the meeting and be prepared to step in for the primary voting delegate should any technological challenges arise throughout the meeting.
For this to run smoothly it is encouraged that Districts appoint their primary and alternate delegates with consideration to the demands and their ability to utilize the technology required to participate in the meeting effectively. The delegates will be required to join the meeting either through their computer or by dialing in on the telephone. The voting delegate must also have internet access and be able to receive emails during the meeting.
With this event being virtual we expect to have representation from all Districts. If you would like to talk about the demands or require any special accommodations, please reach out to the office to discuss this as soon as possible.

There is a run through and tutorial of the AGM software scheduled for
Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at 10:00 AM.
Following the tutorial we will be having a townhall to go over any questions with the proposed By-law amendments. We are using this space in an attempt to keep the AGM time to a minimum and simply vote on the motion at the AGM, having had all comments and discussions completed during this townhall. Your attendance is imperative if you have any questions, comments, or concerns. A link for this meeting will be sent out with all other AGM material.
